A little Healthier...
I really need to treat myself and body better... I mean, over the holiday, I am sure I gained 10 pounds
There was a time when working out was routine for me. 3-4 times a week. When I say work out I don't mean anything intense... just the basic power walk... light jog, light weights and my best friend the elliptical. This easy routine along with occasional at home work out DVD's worked wonders!
So.... Here I am trying to motivate myself again to jump back on the wagon!
I noticed when I work out... My day is much better, I look better, my energy and mood are phenomenal! However the hardest part is getting started. My goal is a mere 15 pounds...and toning... we shall see what happens in the next.. 2 months... wish me luck!

Oatmeal Raisin & Chocolate Chip Cookies....
Recipe
1/2 cup (1 Stick) butter - softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 cups of oatmeal
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1. Pre heat oven to 350, in large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well
3. Add combined flour, baking soda cinnamon, mix well
4. Add oats and raisin, chocolate, mix well
5. drop dough by rounded spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets
6. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until light golden brown...
